Yummy and crispy mushrooms served with tasty garlic dip. Ideal for parties.

For The Dip
4 tsp mayonnaise
2 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
2 tsp milk
1 tsp tomato ketchup

Other Ingredients
250 gms mushrooms (khumbh)
2 tsp cornflour
2 tsp plain flour (maida)
a pinch of freshly ground black pepper powder
salt to taste
bread crumbs for rolling
oil for frying

For dip

  1. Combine the the garlic with milk and blend in a mixer till smooth.
  2. Add this to the mayonnaise and add the tomato ketchup and mix well.
  3. Keep aside.

How to proceed

  1. Wash the mushrooms and keep aside.
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl along with the mushrooms and toss well.
  3. Keep aside for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Heat the oil in a kadhai, roll the mushrooms in the bread crumbs and deep fry till they turn golden brown and crisp from all the sides.
  5. Drain on an absorbent paper and serve hot with the dip.
