Creamy Cucumber Dip ( Finger Foods for Kids )

The refreshingly cool and minty flavour of this dip is sure to please your little one. Make this dip and serve with crackers, cheese straws, plain salt biscuits or any other biscuit that your child enjoys. This dip will add an extra flavour to his snack.

Preparation Time: 
Makes 0.75 cups

1/2 cup peeled and thinly grated cucumber
1/4 cup chilled fresh hung curds (chakka dahi) (dahi)
2 tbsp eggless mayonnaise
1/2 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
1/2 tbsp mint (phudina) paste
salt to taste

For Serving
crackers of your choice / pasta twists / cheese straws

  1. Squeeze out the water from the cucumber and discard it.
  2. Blend it in a mixer till smooth, strain using a strainer and discard the water again.
  3. Combine all the ingredients, including the cucumber, in a bowl and mix well. Refrigerate for at least an hour.

How to proceed

  1. Serve the chilled creamy cucumber dip surrounded with crackers / pasta twists / cheese straws.

rich in calcium with goodness of cucumber. Very simple dish and kids really loved it.
