Tasty, nutritive and economical. Be careful in using type of carrots, as otherwise the soup will be too thin.

Ingredients


6 carrots
2 onions
1 large potato
1/3 cup fresh cream
1/3 cup milk
salt to taste
black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste

Method
  1. Cut the vegetables into big pieces.
  2. Add 6 teacups of water and cook in a pressure cooker.
  3. When cooked, blend the mixture in a liquidiser and strain.
  4. Boil for 15 minutes.
  5. When ready to serve, add the cream, milk, salt and pepper.
  6. Serve hot.

Simple, Healthy and delicious!! Cream of carrot soup is so subtle, the pepper adds some zing to the dish! I added some coriander and cheese for more texture! worked fine :)
