Some foods bring back fond memories....
My earliest memory of corn is that of relishing bhutta in the rains....it was
spiked with salt,
chilli powder and limbu. The perfect way to enjoy a wet rainy day with my
family.
Corn has always been my all time favourite food and now that it is available
throughout the
year, both fresh and canned, I enjoy it in many many ways.
One can whip up a thick luscious soup in the winter and monsoons, a
sumptuous salad or
chaat during the summer and it can also make an elegant appetizer for
entertaining.
