Ingredients

1 1/2 cups grated fresh corn (makai ke dane) (makai)
1 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
2 green chillies , chopped
2 curry leaves (kadi patta)
a pinch asafoetida (hing)
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp plain flour (maida)
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tbsp ghee
salt to taste

To Be Ground Into A Paste
4 tbsp grated coconut
6 black peppercorns (kalimirch)

For Decoration
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)

Method
  1. Heat the ghee and fry the mustard seeds for 1 minute. Add the green chillies, curry leaves, asafoetida and corn and fry for 2 minutes.
  2. Mix the milk and flour and add to the mixture. Add the paste and cook for a few minutes.
  3. Add 1/2 teacup of water and salt and cook for few minutes.
  4. Add the corinader and mix well and serve hot topped with corinander.
