A tasty snack made with the breakfast cerel cornflakes into a special gujarati chivda. Serve for tea as a snack.

Ingredients


2 cups corn flakes
1/3 cup peanuts
2 to 3 tsp sugar
1 tsp chilli powder
salt to taste
2 tbsp oil

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a pan.
  2. Add peanuts and saute till light brown in colour (approximately for 3-4 minutes). lower the heat.
  3. Add cornflakes and stir for a minute.
  4. Add salt, chili powder and sugar. stir for an additional minute and remove from flame.
  5. Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
