This butter icing recipe yields a smooth and creamy icing. It is as instant as an instant coffee. Do use it sandwich between cookies, as it works wonders.

Ingredients


100 gms icing sugar
50 gms butter or margarine
1/2 tbsp coffee essence or 1/2 tsp coffee powder dissolved in 1 tsp water

Method
  1. Sieve the icing sugar and keep aside.
  2. In a bowl, cream the icing margarine using a wooden spoon till it is light and smooth.
  3. Gradually, add the sieved icing sugar and cream till all the icing sugar is added.
  4. Add the coffee essence or coffee mixture and mix well.Use it as per the recipe.
