Its summer again and thirst takes over hunger for the coming few months.
Most of us are in a dilemma when we have to entertain a huge crowd and don’t know what menu will best suit the weather and as well satiate the crowds hunger.
Try my suggestion to consider throwing a cocktail party.
Cocktails are social occasions when guests wash down bite size savouries in between large quantities of fluids. This concept is appropriate when you need more liquids and little solids to fill your stomach.
For cocktails or mocktails, you should provide a choice of at least four varieties, which should be neither too heavy, nor oversweet. And as regards savouries, be sure to see that they are small, dainty and appealing. As they say, “when the guests are dressy, let the snacks not be messy.”
Accordingly, sophistication in taste and in presentation should be the hallmark of cocktail entertaining.
The following recipes will help you start.
All the best!
Regards,
