Classic Chocolate Fondue

Divinely rich and silky smooth, chocolate fondue doesn't get much better unless you add the rich creamy chocolate and brandy. To melt in your mouth served with the chewy marsh mellows and cut fruits.

Ingredients


1/2 cup plain or milk chocolate, chopped into small pieces
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1/2 cup milk
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 cup beaten cream
4 to 5 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp brandy (optional)

For Serving
Stewed Fruit or fresh mixed fruits , marshmellows and cake pieces

Method
  1. Heat the butter in a pan, add the flour and cook for 2 minutes till you get the aroma of cooked flour.
  2. Add the milk, chocolate pieces, cocoa powder, cream, sugar and ¾ cup of water and cook stirring continuously till the mixture thickens.
  3. Put the mixture in a fondue pot, stir in vanilla essence and brandy.
  4. Serve with stewed or fresh fruit, marshmallows, cake pieces.
