3/4 cup coarsely grated carrot
1 cup shredded cabbage
4 tbsp bean sprouts (optional)
1 onion, sliced
pinch of baking powder
a few drops of soy sauce
a pinch of sugar
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste

  1. Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the carrots,cabbage, bean sprouts, onion and baking powder and cook on a high flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
  2. Add the carrots, add the soya sauce, sugar and salt.
  3. Keep aside and use for the stuffing.
