A fiery dip.

Makes 1 cup.


Ingredients


10 whole dry kashmiri red chillies
6 cloves of garlic (lehsun) , chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1/2 tsp soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon vinegar
1 tbsp oil

Method
  1. Remove the seeds from the chillies. Soak them in lukewarm water for half an hour.
  2. Put all the ingredients in a mixer and grind to a fine paste. If required, add a little water.

Tips
  1. This dip tastes even better if ground using a mortar and pestle.
