With tangy tomatoes, spicy chillies and pungent garlic, the chilli garlic sauce is a semi-spicy sauce that will cause your taste-buds to tingle and jingle. It is used in varied oriental recipes, ranging from stir-fries and noodles to fried rice and soups. For an interesting twist, you can try it with chaats or parathas too!

200 ml tomato ketchup or fresh tomato puree
1 tsp chilli oil
4 tsp chilli sauce
1/2 tsp finely grated ginger (adrak)
1 clove garlic (lehsun) , crushed
1 tsp sugar if using
salt to taste

  1. Mix all the ingredients and blend thoroughly.
