Chicken Burger With French Fries

Lean chicken mince is the one when the skin of the chicken is not used in making the mince and the skin has got most of the fat.
if we use oil spray instead of traditional way of using oil to cook food we reduce the amount of fat intake by more than half.

Ingredients


For chicken burger
500 gm lean chicken mince
1 egg white
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
2 green chillies, finely chopped
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 tsp garam masala
salt to taste
oil spray for cooking
For French Fries
6 large potatoes
salt to taste
oil spray

Method


    French fries

    1. Peel and cut the potatoes in to chips.
    2. Cook the fries for 7-8 min in boiling salted water or altenatively microwave on high for 8 min with little water and sprinkle of salt.
    3. Drain well .
    4. In an oven proof dish spray oil to coat whole dish and spread the fries over it evenly. spray the oil again over the fries.
    5. In a preheated oven at 230deg. bake the chips for 35 to 40 min or until golden brown.turn the chips once in between.

    Chicken burger

    1. Mix all the ingredients well.
    2. Divide them into 6 equal parts and make patties of all the parts.
    3. In a nonstick pan ,heat it , spray oil and cook the patties on both sides until well cooked .

    Serving suggestions

    1. Serve the burgers in buns with salad , ketchup and the fries.
