Fruits and veggies boost one's immunity as they are rich in natural antioxidants, vitamins a and c. Cooking destroys these vitamins, and so it is better to have them raw as in this recipe.

Preparation Time:     Makes 4 glasses

4 medium sized carrot , (unpeeled) , cut into cubes
2 medium sized orange , seperated into segments
2 amlas (indian gooseberries) , deseeded and cut into pieces
2 tbsp powdered sugar

For Serving
crushed ice

  1. Combine all the ingredients with 1 cup of cold water in a mixer and blend till smooth.
  2. Strain the juice using a strainer or a muslin cloth.
  3. Add some crushed ice into 4 individual glasses and pour the juice over it.
  4. Serve immediately.
