This chutney is a great way of including fibre-rich carrots and cholesterol-lowering garlic to your meals.

Preparation Time:     Makes 0.5 cup

1 cup thickly grated carrot
2 tbsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp oil
salt to taste

  1. Combine all the ingredients and blend in a mixer to a fine paste.
  2. Store refrigerated in an air-tight container and use as required
