I''m on a salt restricted diet so I used unsalted butter and did not add the additional salt. Taste was wonderful however I think I didn''t quite make it properly because the cookies melted on the cookie sheet and did not look like your picture how long should I need the dough

Tarla Dalal    While making cookies make sure you use every ingredient which is on room temperature. It should neither be chilled nor hot or warm. Also check your baking temperature properly while baking. Do not over mix the cookies dough. Keep these tips in mind n make your cookies, it will turn out good.

I made these cookies for Diwali in 2016, and I should have tripled the recipe because every one loved them so much! I was told I should open an Indian bakery here in town. I am making another batch for tomorrow''s pooja and I''ll make five times what the recipe yields. Thank you so much for such a perfect recipe!
