Ingredients

1/2 kg of beetroot , grated
1/2 liter milk
100 gms grated low fat mava (khoya)
sugar as per taste
2 tsp of poppy seeds (khus-khus)
chopped mixed nuts for garnishing

Method
  1. Heat a deep pan, add the milk and grated beetroot.
  2. Mix well and cook on a medium flame till the beetroot gets completely dried up.
  3. Add the mava and sugar, mix well and cook till the sugar is completely dissolved and mixed with the halwa.
  4. Add khus khus and mix well.
  5. Garnish it with raisins and nuts of your choice.

This is something definitely worth trying!I think we can even use sugarfree toeards the end to make this recipe even more healthier. Being a Nutritionist, I would always try healthier versions! Good one!
