A homestyle potato and cauliflower vegetable with a water gravy. It uses a blend of spices called "goda masala" is a blend of spices used in Maharashtrian cooking. It is easily available at most grocery stores.

Ingredients

Method
  1. Heat the oil, add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds and allow them to crackle.
  2. Add the onions and turmeric powder and cook till the onion is translucent.
  3. Add the tomato, ginger, garlic and green chilli and cook till the tomato pieces are soft.
  4. Add the potatoes and 3 cups of water and simmer till the potatoes are partially done.
  5. Add the cauliflower, chilli powder, goda masala, sugar and salt and cook till cauliflower and potatoes are done.
  6. Serve hot garnished with the coriander.
