Basil and Badam Soup

Ingredients

50 gms almonds (badam) blanched and minced
10 chopped basil leaves
1 stick of cinnamon (dalchini)
2 to 3 cloves (laung / lavang)
salt and freshly ground black pepper powder to taste
2 to 3 cardamoms

Method
  1. Combine the minced almonds, 2 cups of water, cinnamon, cloves and green cardamom and boil in a deep pan for 10 minutes.
  2. Strain and add the salt, pepper and basil leaves and boil again for more 5 minutes.
  3. Serve hot.
