Pizzas have crossed geographical boundaries to become a hot favourite all over the world! While it is convenient to have Pizzas outside, it is also super fun to make it at home once in a while, because this gives you the freedom to make your pizza exactly the way you want it, with your favourite toppings and sauces, and just the amount of cheese you wish to have.

Although pizza base is readily available in stores, the fresh taste and texture of a homemade one are unbeatable. And, well, it is not such an adventurous activity either. It is quite easy to make at home, as this Basic Pizza Base recipe will show you.

Use this base to make Pizzetta Squares , , Cheesy Zucchini and Baby Corn Pizza , Mushroom, Sweet Corn and Spinach Pizza and many more varities of pizzas .

Tarla Dalal    Hi Rashi, While cooking the pizza in a pan, you can put very little ghee first and then place the pizza over it and cover it and cook. In this way, the base and the vegetables both will be cooked. You can try this recipe - http://www.tarladalal.com/Pizza-in-A-Pan-No-Oven-Pizza-Recipe-1894r . Do try this recipe and share your review with us.

What if we keep the dough aside for more than one hour, and please let me know that can we use that dough after 5-6 hours
| Hide Replies
Tarla Dalal    Hi Ashish, Do not keep the dough for 5 to 6 hours.. it might get sour in taste.. as the yeast will react.. and once you have kneaded and fermented the dough use it within an hour or so..
