Ingredients

1 banana , mashed
4 tbsp whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
3 tbsp grated jaggery (gur) or
a pinch cinnamon (dalchini) powder
2 tsp oil for cooking

For The Topping
1 tbsp grated fresh coconut
2 tbsp sesame seeds (til) , toasted

To Serve
1 tbsp honey

Method
  1. Combine the banana, flour, jaggery and cardamom in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Add approx. ΒΌ cup of water to get a batter of coating consistency.
  3. Heat oil in a small pan pour a spoonful of the batter on it.
  4. Spread it with the back of a round laddle to make a 100 mm. (4") diameter thick pancake.
  5. Top with the coconut and sesame mixture and cook the pancake on both sides till golden brown in colour using a little oil.
  6. Repeat to make 3 more pancakes.
  7. Serve hot with honey.
