Ingredients


For The Spaghetti
1 1/2 cups cooked spaghetti
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 1/2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1 tbsp butter
salt to taste

For The Cheese Balls
1 1/2 cups paneer (cottage cheese)
2 bread slices
3 tbsp fresh curds (dahi)
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
3 finely chopped green chillies
4 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1/4 tsp baking soda
salt to taste

To Be Blended For The Spinach Sauce
1 cup blanched and
1/2 cup fresh cream
1 cup white sauce
salt and to taste

Other Ingredients
1/4 cup grated mozzrella cheese
oil for deep-frying

Method
For the spaghetti

  1. Heat the butter in a pan, add the onions and sauté till they turn translucent. Keep aside.
  2. Add the green chillies, spaghetti and salt. Mix well and cook for ½ minute.

For the cheese balls

  1. Soak the bread slices in curds for 10 minutes.
  2. Crumble the paneer and knead very well.
  3. Add the soaked bread slices, coriander, green chillies, plain flour, soda bi-carb and salt.
  4. Mix well and shape into small balls.
  5. Heat the oil in a pan and deep fry the balls till golden brown.
  6. Drain on absorbent paper and keep aside.

How to proceed

  1. Combine the spaghetti with the spinach sauce and mix well.
  2. Spread the mixture on a greased baking dish and arrange the cheese balls on top.
  3. Sprinkle the cheese on top and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°c (400°f) for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Serve hot.
