A yummy south indian gravy delicacy made with a variety of vegetables full of health and nutrition.

Makes 4 servings


50 gms ash gourd
50 gms carrot
50 gms drumsticks
50 gms yam (suran)
50 gms raw bananas
50 gms french beans
250 gms curds (dahi)
1/2 cup freshly grated coconut
7 to 8 green chillies
1 tbsp coconut oil
curry leave
salt to taste

  1. Cut all the vegetable into 2" long and 1" thick pieces.
  2. Add the salt and water, mix well and cook till they turn tender.
  3. Meanwhile, grate coconut, add green chillie and blend in a mixer to a coarse paste. Keep aside.
  4. Once the vegetable is cooked, add the beaten curd and cook for a couple of minutes by stirring carefully without mashing the vegetable.
  5. Add the coconut paste, mix well and remove from the flame.
  6. Add the curry leaves and season with coconut oil.
  7. Serve hot.
