A sweet sauce with a mild tang that goes very well with desserts hot and cold, the apricot sauce is also easy to make. The seeds are easy to pull out once you soak the fruit in water as explained in the recipe, so there is no messy botheration about making this delicious sauce.

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 3 cups

  1. Wash the apricots, put in 2 teacups of water and soak.
  2. After 4 hours, remove the seeds, add the sugar and cook for 4 minutes.
  3. Pass the mixture through a sieve.
  4. Cool the sauce and add the lemon juice.
  5. Chill.

very tasty sauce that tastes even better when topped over an icecream...i also tried it with pancakes...truly recommendable!
