A great way to consume protein. Soy milk is low on fat, high in protein and isoflavones – an antioxidant that lowers bad cholesterol and prevents osteoporosis. Give that cola a break, and try this delicious, healthy shake instead!

Makes 4 glasses


Ingredients

3 chopped apples
sugar substitute to taste
1 cup chilled soya milk
2 cups chilled low-fat milk(99.7% fat-free , readily available in the market)
1/2 tsp cinnamon (dalchini) powder

For Serving
ice-cubes

Method
  1. Combine the apples and sugar substitute and blend in a mixer to a smooth purée using a little milk.
  2. Add the soya milk, milk and cinnamon powder and blend again it smooth.
  3. Pour equal quantities of the drink into 4 individual glasses and top with ice-cubes.
  4. Serve immediately.
