1 big sized knol khol
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
salt to taste
1 tsp sugar
a pinch of asafoetida (hing)
coriander (dhania) for garnishing


  1. Cut the alcul into half slice it with a slicer
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and serve.
