Here, we bring together two favourite beverage formats – slush and lassi! Rich and luscious mango lassi is blended with mint leaves and ice cubes to get a slushy, peppy drink, which is sure to be enjoyed by everybody. Remember to let the Aam Lassi Slush rest a while out of the freezer so you can mix it up with a fork before serving, with an appetizing garnish of mint leaves.

Aam Lassi Slush recipe - How to make Aam Lassi Slush

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 servings

1 cup alphonso mango cubes
1 cup curds (dahi)
1 tbsp chopped mint leaves (phudina)
4 tbsp sugar
4 to 5 ice-cubes

For The Garnish
a few mint leaves (phudina)
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a mixer and blend till smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into a shallow aluminium container and cover it with an aluminium foil.
  3. Freeze it for approx. 4 to 6 hours or until it is firm.
  4. Remove it from the freezer and keep aside for 4 to 5 minutes.
  5. Scrape it with a fork and serve immediately in small glasses garnished with mint leaves.

A slush with aam.. woow.. the best slush i have ever had with a minty taste.. and slight sour and perfectly sweetened.. This slush is much better than what you get in the market.. now i often make this... for all

Frozen Alphonso mango bleated with curds and mint. Heavenly drink for those who love mangoes.

A big hit with all mango fans!! A perfect break on a hot summer day! Serve it with chaat or something spicy, or it might just get a bit too sweet.
