Ripe mango pieces dipped in thick batter consisting of besan, rice flour, carom seeds, chilli powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida, salt and deep fried.
- Heat the oil in a kadhai, dip the mango slices individually into the batter and deep fry till they turn golden brown and crisp from all the sides.
- Make more such pakodas using the remaining mango slices and batter.
- Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with mint chutney.
