The child friendly burger recipe, aloo burger has boiled and mashed aloo or potato based patties or tikkis as the filling in the burger buns. A great snacking option, you can perk up the nutritive value by adding vegetables or paneer in the aloo tikkis.

Makes 4 servings


4 potatoes
1 cheese slice
4 small sized vegetable cutlets
mixed vegetables
oil for frying

  1. Peel the potatoes
  2. Cut them in two halves widthwise
  3. Poke them with a fork and deep fry
  4. Place the vegetables,cutlets and 1/4 of cheese on each bottom half
  5. Place the upper half and poke in a toothpick
  6. Enjoy
